Rainbow Wheels of Light
Visshuda, The Fifth Chakra
Now that you have been introduced to the  transcendent nature of Anahata, the fourth Chakra, you may feel intrigued to pursue the mysteries of Visshuda, the 5th chakra located in the throat between the collar bone & lower bone of the eye socket.

Its name means "purified" to help us better understand the process of transformation that the more dense energies undergo as the follow the serpentine path up the chakra column. Visshuda relates to the element of sound and its color is blue, manifesting in  its many shades and hues, evoking rainbow images of blues swirling in and around this chakra to strengthen the voice and creative expression in any form.

Physically the voice box, thyroid and parathyroid glands are located within the domain of Visshuda as well as the hearing apparatus.
The gift of clairaudience, or hearing sound on the astral plane, finds its home here.

This chakra relates to our ability to speak our own truth. The creative energy of the first chakra: song, music, all artistic expression, and the gift of clairaudience, or hearing sound on the astral level, are expressed here. A fully functioning 5th chakra results in a clear strong voice and direct, truthful and  respectful communication. The thyroid and parathyroid glands function optimally resulting in balanced calcium and general metabolism . Neck and jaw  muscles are relaxed and strong.

Gemstones: Blue Kyanite, Blue Lace Agate, Sodalite, Apatite, Blue Aventurine, Aqua Aura, Turquoise. and Aquamarine to name just a few.

I do hope you've enjoyed this overview of Visshuda & will consider learning more about this  and the other chakras in Explore the Experiences which includes guided imageries relative to each.
